March 6 - Planning Your Kitchen Garden
Fitting your design with your soil, weather conditions and community. Starting seedlings for optimum plant health. Bring a photo of where you might put a garden at your home.
April 24 - Preparing Your Soil and Mulching
Build health and vitality into your soil with traditional techniques such as compost and sheet mulching. Understand your garden better by analyzing the needs of your soil.
May 15 - Planting Your Kitchen Garden
Time your planting through observation of soil temperature and moisture and proper weather condistions. Give your plants what they need to thrive through companion planting and proper spacing.
June 26 - Fall Garden Care & Fall Garden Planting Ideas
Planting your fall garden, ensuring continuing soil health through successive plantings, understand seasonal maintenance for a bountiful harvest.
August 28 - Seed Saving & Fall Harvesting
Harvesting, processing and storing your valuable seeds for next year's planting.
